i would be 100% completely ok with what is going on with gas prices right now if i werent stuck in the south. even more so if i werent stuck in asheville. if i were in boston or any other city where cycling is a possible form of transprtation..or walking for that matter...id be living it up right now. i think its great. hopefully with gas prices up so high (er 4.00 a gallon here thanks) maybe people will start car pooling, and not driving STUPID FUCKING SUVS!!!! maybe people will start riding bikes. now i know this will never happen in asheville or other small rural mountain towns because people are so attatched to their huge luxery vehicles and pretty much ok with being 4,000,000,000 lbs overweight. but hopefully. maybe. one day. americans... southerners will understand that the fuel we put into our vehicles dont come from a free fuel tree.

today as i went out to fill the tank of my tiny little car before my trip to charlotte tomorrow, i was faced with long lines in front of every filling station here in swannanoa. upon closer observation i saw that ALL THE GAS IN ASHEVILLE IS GONE.

yep. go on everyone! hoard that gas. take your HUMMER?! to citgo and spend 100$ on filling up your stupid huge gas tank, then unload five or six empty gas bottle thingys and fill them up. because yes it is nesecary to take all the gas in the world to your stupid new housing develpoment that is completely flat because the developers just bulldozed the whole goddamn mountain down.
